Lakota my 9 year old husky

Tripawds is a user-supported community. Thank you for your support!

Just sitting here fighting back the tears. Lakota had a large lump removed off her hind leg a few weeks ago. Of course, it failed to heal and seemed to open and ooze daily. Waited to hear results and it tore my heart out. So, now she is having that leg removed and it is killing me. I know it is what needs to be done, but I worry that I will not get my loving, beautiful best friend back. I came to this site because what I had seen did help me, but now that the day is here it is not the same. I have seen nothing but great results but you always worry. Well, if anyone reads this I just want to thank everyone for this site and all the help it gives.
